There is so much that could be said about Andy Kaufman, and I don’t have the energy to say any of it.
The idea of comedy as performance art is easily dismissed by some, and equally over romanticized by others. I don’t want to fall victim to the hyperbole that often comes with presenting his work, except to say that I personally find it to be clever and inspired. The enthusiasm and innocence that makes up the best of it reflects something about the world that I feel like we don’t see enough of.
This look into his life is called I’m From Hollywood and explores his time as the "Inter-Gender Champion of the World".
