Here’s a holiday treat from the Flaming Lips!
If you are not already aware of the Flaming Lips work, you should really seek out the documentary "Fearless Freaks" which provides some great insight into to the band as a whole, and more importantly, an in depth look into the artistic process of the bands front man Wayne Coyle.
A lot of ground is covered, including one really interesting project that Wayne has been working on for the past few years called "Christmas on Mars". The DIY approach to filmmaking shown here is truly inspiring!
After years in production, the movie has finally been released. I recently bought my copy, and now I’m just waiting to get my Christmas tree decorated so that I can have a few friends over to enjoy the magic with me!
