The Rentals Waiting
"Waiting" appears on The Rentals first LP "The Return Of The Rentals".
Matt Sharp began his career as the bass player for the band Weezer before establishing himself as the front man of The Rentals. More than just a side project, The Rentals went on to create some great work of their own... including THIS great song off of their first record.
The dense heavy guitars and use of synthesizers with the additional textures offered by the use of some strings really helped these songs to add up to be more than the sum of their parts.
The Rentals have resurfaced over the last couple of years with a brand new lineup and some new records that you should check out.
