UPA's
The Tell Tale Heart

This short was produced by UPA in 1953, and was directed by Ted Parmelee.

Here we have an adaption of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Tell Tale Heart which features some incredible layout work, clever motion and beautifully textured paintings for you to enjoy.

This is yet another in a long line of great shorts produced by the famous UPA Studios during the 1950’s that you should totally check out.

In the credits you will see a man named Bill Scott listed under "Story Adaption", which is always funny to me considering the dark mood of this film since he is most well known for being the voice of Bullwinkle J. Moose!
