Welley Willis Discography includes more albums than you can believe.
When I die, I will at least die happy knowing that I was lucky enough to have seen Wesley Willis perform live on more than one occasion during my life. Two times to be specific.
I own more of his albums than anyone needs to own, and yet so should you.
The world becomes a little less horrible when someone who was dealt a rough hand gets the opportunity to live out their dreams. A lot of people cry fowl in regards to what they see as the exploitation of Mr. Willis, but I really have to wonder what they would have as the alternative?
He writes songs with the intention of them being entertaining, and they are received accordingly. He enjoyed an active social life as a result of his efforts. It all sounds pretty good to me.
The reality is that the reception of his work provided him an alternative to the life of isolation and routine that most people in his situation experience. That’s really all that ANYONE cold ask for!
The one regret that I may have on my deathbed in regards to Mr. Willis, would be missing the opportunity of getting a head butt from him when I had the chance.
